TPCATS, one of the UK’s leading catalysts and exhausts suppliers, has implemented the electronic trading initiative PACT, the joint venture between eparts and TecCom.
The agreement will enable effective communication with aftermarket customers via a more efficient, controlled and automated ordering process.
Mike Flower, TPCATS sales director, said: “As the product range is increasing, it’s becoming harder for motor factors to know what to stock. Electronic trading is more efficient as they can find the part through their cataloguing system then check stock availability and order. Electronic trading offers choice, flexibility and availability to ensure factors offer a strong service to customers.”
TPCATS boasts the ISO9001/2000 quality assurance for its manufacturing and distribution systems awarded by TUV, the leading European testing and certification body.
Distributors that are already taking advantage of PACT’s resourceful platform will now have access to TPCATS’ full range of premium quality, direct fit catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters, front pipes, link pipes, exhausts and universal cats.
PACT’s network of leading automotive aftermarket businesses continues to grow, with TPCATS having access to more than 2000 buyer locations throughout the UK, utilising the common exchange to promote and supply its wide range of emission control solutions.
Mark Rudge of PACT said: “TPCATS is a leading independent producer of emission control systems in the UK and we’re delighted to welcome them to our ever-expanding network. PACT continues to change the way in which businesses operate, simplifying processes and eliminating the risk of human error and it is great that top UK suppliers are embracing these developments.”
PACT can connect single or multi-branch motor factor operations using any business system to the UK’s leading component suppliers.
