PSA has approved Total Quartz INEO First 0W30 as the only lubricant to be used in its new PSA Blue HDI engines. PSA says that this grade of engine oil is compulsory in the new engines.

Total Quartz INEO First 0W30 is a very modern engine oil, based on the highest levels of actual synthetic technology, which Total launched last year.

The oil was developed in close cooperation with PSA’s technical departments and motorists and is now directly delivered from Total Lubricants to PSA car assembly lines. Total is the unique engine oil supplier for PSA and its products are chosen to equip all engines of new Peugeot and Citroen vehicles.

This pollution-control synthetic technology engine oil provides engines with the best possible protection against wear and clogging. Post-treatment systems are also protected over the long-term thanks to the “Low SAPS” formulation (low content of sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur contents). Using this engine oil can help generate fuel savings without the need to change driving style.
