Thieves strike at Sligo main dealership

An opportunistic thief struck yesterday (Thursday) at a BMW main dealership in Co. Sligo and made off with a small consignment of high performance car tyres.

The theft occurred at Martin Reilly Motors, Carraroe, Co. Sligo yesterday morning. The thief drove into the premises and spotted four Continental run flat tyres in size: 245/50/18, which had just been delivered, stacked outside the the Parts Department.

Having brazenly loaded the tyres, the thief made off in a Blue Transit van.  The van was captured on CCTV and the registration of the vehicle has been goven to Gardai in Sligo, who are now investigating.
