Two members of Škoda’s Team Ireland have been placed in the top 10 at the international finals of the Škoda Service Challenge, which took place in the Czech Republic recently, beating off stiff competition from 35 other countries.
Jonathan Leonard, from Kanturk, Co. Cork came fourth in the Service Technician Category. Jonathan is a Service Technician from E. Tarrant & Sons, Škoda in Banteer, Co. Cork, with over nine years’ experience in the motor industry.
Kieran McGinty from Donegal was named among the top 10 in the Diagnostic Technician Category. Kieran is an experienced diagnostic technician and has been working at DMG Motors in Donegal Town for almost 10 years.
Team Škoda Ireland were up against 35 countries in this year’s international finals.

Now in its sixth year, the Škoda Service Challenge has become a prestigious benchmark for measuring the qualities of the best employees in the global Škoda service network and includes several different categories: Sales Consultant; Service Advisor; Service Technician; Diagnostic Technician and Parts Manager.
