Specially-shaped drive shaft wedge tool for VW Group 09G transmissions

Working on the VW Group 6-speed 09G automatic transmission? Need to split the drive shaft from the transmission? Then reach for the special drive shaft wedge tool (part number 8139) from Laser Tools.

Manufactured in aluminium, the tool is specially designed to reach between the gearbox casing and the drive shaft — a few steady hammer blows will force the wedge tool between the casing and the shaft, popping the shaft out.

It is 262mm in length and equivalent to OEM T10161. Applications include: VW Jetta (from 2005) and Passat (from 2006). Always use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
