Sogefi reports heightened demand for EV cabin filters

Sogefi Group has reported increased demand for its cabin filters product line, including a range of references suitable for electric vehicle fitment.

The group, comprising the Purflux, Fram, Coopersfiamm, and Technocar brands offers a complete range of cabin filters, combining different technologies and adapted to suit vehicle demands.

To complete this range, benefitting from its industrial innovations and research and development expertise, Sogefi Group has developed the CabinHepa+ filter, which it claims retains up to 99.97 per cent of particles up to 0.3 microns and 99.90 per cent of particles up to 0.1 microns.

Sogefi has also listed the top 10 ranking electric vehicles with all four of its brands covering these applications.

The fastest moving Sogefi references for EVs are parts developed for the Tesla Model Y, with the brand’s Model 3 coming up second. The top five highest-selling products are completed by parts fitting the Fiat e500, Volkswagen ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq.

Cabin filters for the Ford Kuga plug-in hybrid sold sixth highest, with the Peugeot e208 seventh. The Volkswagen ID.3, Renault Twingo e-tech and the Vauxhall/Opel Corsa-e rounded out the top 10.

Sogefi Group says its range of cabin filters now offer 95.6 per cent coverage of the European vehicle parc.
