Serfac appointed official Denso distributor

Denso Aftermarket has appointed Serfac Limited as an official distributor for Ireland.

Denso offers an extensive range of OE quality parts, many of which include unique technologies and
applications.  These include Engine Cooling, Air Conditioning Components, Cabin Air Filters, Spark Plugs, Glow Plugs, Wiper Blades, Starters and Alternators, Lambda Sensors and Diesel Components.

One of the latest additions to the Denso range is the brand’s new Twin-Tip (TT) plug.  Covering 90 per cent of the European car parc and a wide range of engines, Denso’s TT plug is a recent innovation and uses new technology based on the Super Ignition Plug supplied by Denso to OEMs.

Liam O’Donohoe, commercial manager, Serfac Limited, explains: “Denso’s new TT Spark Plugs really are a world first.  No other Spark Plug manufacturer offers a nickel centre, coupled with a twin protruding ground electrode with a slimmer 1.5mm diameter. This technology has been developed specifically for the aftermarket to plug the gaps in the market between advanced ignitability and price.”

The twin electrode achieves ignition efficiency closer to that achieved by Denso’s premium Iridium ranges.  However, the use of the nickel centre dramatically reduces the cost for each Spark Plug, meaning garages can offer high performance for a fraction of the normal cost.
