Schaeffler shortlisted for CAT Award

Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions UK Limited has made the final shortlist for the CAT Supplier of the Year award.

Sales and marketing director, Matthew Selby (pictured below), commented: “It is an honour for Schaeffler to be included in a list full of prominent aftermarket giants – we’re in great company. We had a truly fantastic year in 2024, and we are pleased to have been recognised by securing Supplier of the Year nomination in the CAT Awards.

“At Schaeffler, our customers customers are at the heart of what we do – whether that’s introducing new repair solutions, providing advanced training courses through REPXPERT, or creating new and exciting promotions so that technicians can get even more benefits from using Schaeffler products and services.

“CAT’s Supplier of the Year category is one of the most hotly contested awards and there are a lot of finalists this year, but we are confident in our offering and our team, so we’re excited to attend the awards in February.”

In 2024, the Schaeffler REPXPERT team answered more than 20,000 technical calls (not counting 40,000+ application and part number enquiries), visited over 900 workshops across the UK and attended 15 trade shows.

The company trained over 5,000 technicians and supported the development of more than 80 Level Two and Level Three apprentices through its Wrenches and Wisdom events.

Meanwhile, REPXPERT members earned 38 million bonus points, with three becoming REPXPERT Millionaires thanks to the 2024 Bonus Point Millionaire campaign.

Another significant milestone was the rebranding of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket to Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions in November. This new name underscores a long-term vision of providing comprehensive, integrated solutions that support the entire lifecycle of vehicles, meeting the evolving needs of workshops by providing them with innovative systems, products and services.

The REPXPERT Conference was another key highlight, bringing together industry leaders and forward-thinking garage owners and technicians to discuss industry challenges, share technical insights, and foster networking opportunities.

Schaeffler also launched its Wrenches and Wisdom campaign, designed to engage and inspire the next generation of vehicle technicians. Combining an online video series with live training events, the initiative aims to train and upskill young talent, which the company will continue in 2025.
