Renault Group has made a strong start to the busy 182 registration period, finishing in fourth position overall with a 10.1 per cent combined share of the new car and van markets for July.
The Renault Clio and the Dacia Sandero brought the Group to the number one spot in the busy B segment with a 15.2 per cent share year to date, while the Captur remained on the podium taking up second position in the B-SUV segment for July. The Grand Scénic is the best-selling medium MPV this year, according to Renault.
The Renault ZOE took joint second on the podium in the EV segment for July. In the LCV market, Renault remained in third place on the podium for July with a 14.5 per cent share. Renault says the Master finished July as the number one large van, while the recently launched Kangoo Z.E. 33 remained in the top spot as the bestselling electric van. The Trafic and the Kangoo finished second and third in the medium and small van markets respectively.
The company says that Westmeath emerged as the bestselling county in July, with the Group boasting 23.55 per cent share of the county’s new car and van markets.
