Refreshed Citroen C4, C4 X revealed

Citroen has pulled the covers on new C4 and C4 X, an evolution of the current C4 and C4 X which inherit a new design, more comfort and technologies on board.

The front end incorporates the brand’s new logo, which sits in the centre of a redesigned radiator grille. The slim LED front headlamps feature a characteristic light signature divided into three distinctive horizontal segments, ensuring instant recognition even from a distance.

On the side, there’s new 18-inch AMBER wheels with a diamond, precision-sculpted finish, while the side guards have been redesigned to give a more fluid appearance.

Exclusively on C4, the rear lights are designed to match the visual impact of the front end, while visually widening the rear of the vehicle and reinforcing its position on the road.

The black band, in Glossy Black finish, which links the rear lights, adds aesthetic appeal and serves as a backdrop to the emblematic Citroen name. Meanwhile, the C4 X will continue with its rear design, though now incorporating the brands new logo.

In addition to a new design, the C4 and C4 X adopt new colours – ‘Manhattan Green’ and ‘Mercury Grey’, that will be available alongside the recently launched ‘Eclipse Blue’, ‘Elixir Red’, ‘Okenite White’ and ‘Perla Nera Black’.

The interior also receives a refresh. The Advanced Comfort seats have been redesigned to enhance on-board comfort. Visual comfort is provided by seats with a padded effect, while seating comfort is enhanced by 15mm thicker foam.

On board technology is also enhanced by a new seven-inch high-definition instrument cluster positioned behind the steering wheel. Alongside a 10-inch high-definition touchscreen, the driver is well informed thanks to the introduction of ChatGPT, directly integrated into the infotainment system and available via the ‘Connect Plus’ Pack.

The new C4 and C4 X are expected to arrive in multiple powertrains including the existing Hybrid and new electric offering with a range of up to 420km WLTP. Both are set to arrive in Irish dealerships in early 2025, with pricing to be announced closer to then.
