Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd attracted legions of motorsport fans and famous faces to its stand at the Autosport International show.
The company has a long and illustrious history in motorsport, sponsoring some of the most successful Formula One, Rally and other four-wheel teams and competitors, helping them to achieve numerous world titles, and exhibited at the four-day show at Birmingham’s NEC.
The NGK stand featured a 600bhp Bentley Continental GT3 raced by Team Parker Racing in The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and a racing simulator where visitors competed daily for a radio controlled, scale model of an NGK Ferrari 458 Challenge.
Visitors to the stand included NGK-sponsored two-wheel racer Maria Costello, MBE, and hillclimb star Charlie Martin.
Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, said: “Our stand attracted a lot of interest from motorsport fans. Autosport International gives us the opportunity to meet enthusiasts who not only follow many of the teams and competitors we support, but whose own vehicles feature our spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK sensors.”
