Marotte joins Dacia as VP marketing, sales and operations


Dacia has appointed Frank Marotte as vice-president of its marketing, sales and operations, effective 1st February.

He will join the Dacia management committee, reporting to Denis Le Vot, Dacia chief executive.

Marotte has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He began his career at Peugeot in 1993 and has held a number of management positions in France and abroad.

In 2008, he was appointed head of product planning at PSA Peugeot Citroen, overseeing developments in several segments.

In 2013, Marotte joined Toyota Motor as director of product planning for Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Within the company, he oversaw Toyota’s product portfolio in Europe and was a member of the Toyota Motor Europe executive committee.

In July 2019, he was appointed president and managing director of Toyota France, where he was responsible for the strategy and development of the Toyota and Lexus businesses there.
