Mahle Aftermarket has appointed Aliya Lam as its new Sales Manager for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in addition to her current role as Sales & Marketing Manager at Mahle Aftermarket UK.
Remaining at Mahle’s head office in Bilston, West Midlands, Aliya will carry out her new role alongside her UK responsibilities, working alongside recently appointed Head of Western Europe Managing Director, Jonathan Walker.
Aliya has worked at Mahle for 16 years, where she started in the finance department. Since then, she has been involved in most aspects of the business, including logistics, customer service, marketing and relocation projects, giving her a wealth of experience and insight into the brand.
She has gradually risen through the ranks to become Sales & Marketing Manager at the beginning of 2018, covering the Midlands and Wales.
Jonathan Walker said: “Having worked closely with Aliya for several years, I have been extremely impressed with the progression in her professionalism, and dedication to growing the Mahle brand, which I am sure she will carry in to her new role. We’re delighted that our Irish customers will now benefit from her level of sales expertise and product knowledge to help boost their business.”
