Latest G-Wagon arrives
The latest Mercedes-Benz G-Class (or G-Wagon) has gone on sale in Ireland for over €166k, with orders now being taken.
Models that make-up the 2025 G-Class range – with mild hybrid choices in the model mix – include conventional petrol and diesel-powered units alongside an all-electric version.
The three specs available are ‘Exclusive’, ‘Superior’ and ‘AMG’.
Visually, its most notable outer changes include redesigned front and rear bumpers, and new grille with ‘star’ and four horizontal louvres instead of the previous three.
A fully remodelled interior offers a “limitless range of customisation options”, comprising stitched leather seats and trim with ash and walnut insets.
MBUX infotainment, tech and driver information displays are controlled via a touch pad interface positioned on the central console close to the driver’s hand.
Boot space is accessed through a full-height, full-width, side-opening rear door fixed to which is a spare wheel housed within a fully encased, colour-matched metal cover.
Current prices begin from €166,280 for the G 580 with EQ technology with a rated output of 432 kW / 587 hp.
