Huge Auto Trade EXPO for ARM Distribution

ARM Distribution ( had a number of displays at Auto Trade EXPO 2022. Innovation & Efficiency was undoubtedly the theme across all of its stands and certainly looks to be a huge part of the AutoBodyshopSupplies ethos.

On entry to the EXPO, visitors could not miss the brightly lit Elements Xpert LED Inspection Tunnel – a new multi-purpose solution ideal for estimating, pre and post-repair inspection, quality control, paintless dent repair or the professional detailer who requires the best lighting conditions to work under.

Inside the LED work bay ARM Distribution had a fully electric Honda e, along with a delegate from Bieffe Farinelli Italy, market leaders in steam generating machinery for cleaning a sanitising vehicle interiors and exteriors.

The machine on display was the BF310Z Carwash with ozone. This is a machine for vehicle interiors reconditioning. It cleans and sanitises with steam, dries seats within 15 minutes through hot air, is equipped with a professional vacuum cleaner as well as having a built in ozone machine.

This professional steam generator is ideal for workshops that want to reduce water and chemical requirements while maximising efficiency in vehicle cleaning.

ARM Distribution also showcased many detailing essentials from the FLEX tool polishing machines & vacuums to marketing leading cleaning ranges from Koch Chemie & Elements Xpert. ARM Distribution’s website stocks everything from TFR to ceramic coating to meet the needs of everyone in the trade from of a professional detailer to a busy truck wash.

When it comes to body alignment & spray booths, ARM Distribution also had a dedicated stand with Spanesi of Italy. Spanesi and ARM Distribution share a common vision of supporting professional body technicians through innovation and training.

The spirit of this was reflected in the commitment made by Spanesi of having two senior members of its team at the Auto Trade EXPO, demonstrating bench pulling equipment, lifts and the new Spanesi Flash Portable Pulling Column. The Spanesi Touch was demonstrated and it’s hard to believe how advanced and user friendly the Spanesi Touch is.

ARM Distribution is the sole distributor for Spanesi across the island of Ireland, with a technical and training team to provide support.

As we see how glue pulling is changing the approach to efficient repairs, visitors were ‘glued’ to the glue pulling demos from Kecotabs, in particular the new Keco 2E Kit paired with the incredible Spanesi Flash. GPR (Glue Pull Repair) is a method of auto body repair that gets the job done faster, more efficiently, and with less effort.

The results are cleaner and more in line modern vehicle repairs i.e. aluminium panels and EVs. Traditional stud welding versus GPR is no contest when it comes to preserving the OEM coatings on the panel. offers a Keco technical representative visit to your workshop, giving your team an onsite demo.

For the first time ever the PPG van was at the Auto Trade EXPO, displaying the PPG Moonwalk onboard. This innovative system saves labour time, reduces waste and transforms the mixing room into a clean and safe environment. This robust and easy to use technology sets a new standard for the refinish paint market.

Paint technicians and bodyshop managers will benefit from the extreme accuracy coming from the automation of the mixing process, improving speed colour consistency even on the most minute mixes.

The innovation theme was continued with the unique Albatross Carbon Filtered Heated Mobile Spray Station which will greatly reduce your energy cost and vastly improve efficiency within bodyshop for smaller repairs, or even open the door for service workshops and valetors to carry out their own repairs.

ARM Distribution offers a ready to go setup that will increase efficiency and output on small repairs in an existing bodyshop or give the ability to introduce in-house repairs across the motor trade.

The demand for alloy wheel repair continues to grow and the HBC Wheel Restore Machine showcased at the EXPO makes refurbishing diamond cut wheels easy, automated and affordable with the machine costing as little as €21.08 per day on the optional finance.

It removes the need for a “specialist” and increases the amount of people in your business that can refurbish a wheel. It cuts out the requirement to send wheels out for repair which can cause delays and adds a potential new revenue stream to your business.

The Autel ADAS Solution – a combined ADAS Recalibration, Diagnostics and 4-wheel alignment tool that truly gives a full and proper comprehensive ADAS Recalibration solution to bodyshops, autoglaziers and service workshops.

ARM Distribution also had air-plastic-welding demos – the results of which were very impressive. Again the process is simplified meaning more technicians can use it and a lot more plastic components can be repaired instead of replaced.

ARM Distribution had demos of the Telwin battery operated dent puller, and the full range of IMS welding and pulling products from their website.

The company showcased rapid repair solutions demonstrated in UV Primer demos with Teslacure and Infraar UV lamps. The objective is to provide the repairer the ability to speed up the entire drying cycle and also improve the end result without overlooking the characteristics and requirements of the finished paint product.
