Hengst Filtration presents new aftermarket products at Automechanika
Hengst Filtration is expanding its aftermarket portfolio to include further product groups for workshops and wholesalers. The company is currently presenting these at Automechanika in Frankfurt.
Hengst has launched its new ‘Blue.balance’ filter, which it says is the company’s first ‘green’ oil filter insert. As the raw materials used so far account for 76 per cent of the CO2 footprint, Hengst is now using new media and end discs.
In its own TechCenter, the developers have modified the filter medium and developed a recyclate for the end caps. In an analysis, the certification company ClimatePartner confirms that the use of oil filters saves around 30 per cent of CO2 emissions compared to conventional filters, from material procurement to disposal.
Even supposedly long-life components can wear out due to the increasingly long service life of vehicles. It is therefore important for garages and wholesalers to be prepared for their repair or replacement. Hengst Filtration says this is why it is now bringing its OE expertise in the manufacture of Crankcase Ventilation to the independent aftermarket.
Everything for the oil circuit from a single source – this economical solution is now also available on the independent aftermarket in the usual Hengst quality. Oil filter modules from Hengst allow the complete system to be replaced quickly and easily, saving the often labor-intensive replacement of small parts. Assembly material, sensors and filter insert are included in the scope of delivery. Pre-assembled service seals make installation easier.
