Gussen returns to Audi Ireland as brand director

Christian Gussen has been re-appointed as brand director of Audi Ireland, effective 1st February 2025.​

Gussen, who previously held the position from 2013 to 2016, returns to the role following a tenure at Audi AG in Ingolstadt.

From 2016 to 2024, he led the Region Overseas, overseeing markets including Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN.

This appointment comes following the leadership of Damien O’Sullivan, who recently took on the role of managing director at Volkswagen Group UK.​

Pierre Boutin, managing director of Volkswagen Group Ireland, said: “I am pleased to welcome Christian back to Audi Ireland, and look forward to working with him and the Audi team as they continue to forge the brand’s success story here in Ireland.”​
