Geneva’s annual glamorous motor show
Every year Geneva throws up the cream of prestige cars for the rich and famous and this year was even greater than usual. Similarly, all the new premium models are on display. And when you stop dreaming of lottery wins, you will find what mere mortals aspire to driving out of their local dealer’s showroom in the months and years ahead.

Dig a little deeper and there’s lots of evidence of the growth in crossover/SUV models, some more affordable fun and sports cars, surprisingly very little talk about the previously forecast demise of diesel, and a general acceptance that ‘connectivity’ will be at the centre of change in new cars in the next five years.
My Prestige Car of the Show – Lamborghini Centenario.

My Premium Car of the Show – Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

My Car of the Show for ‘Everyone’ – Renault Scenic.

My Concept Car of the Show – Honda Civic Concept.

Others that I really liked included, Volvo’s all new S90 Estate, the Aston Martin DB11, as well as two more concept cars: the Peugeot Traveller i LAB and the Skoda Vision S.
