Irish touring car driver Nicole Drought, from Roscrea in County Tipperary has partnered with Gem Oils for her 2016 Irish Touring Car Championship campaign.
Having been named as Motorsport Ireland Driver of The Month in her debut season last year, Nicole also received a nomination for the governing body’s Young Driver of The Year Award, becoming the first female to receive a nomination in the history of the award.
The 21 year old University of Limerick student has also just been announced as an Ambassador for the Sean Edwards Foundation, who flew her to France recently for a two- day test in a Porsche GT3 Supercup at the famous Paul Ricard circuit. For 2016 she competes in the Production Class of the Teng Tools Irish Touring Car Championship and won at the opening round at Mondello Park in April.
Nicole commented: “I am delighted to have Gem Oils onboard for my 2016 campaign.They are a progressive company and hopefully I can pay them back with more wins and plenty of exposure.”
