The French Embassy in Dublin has taken delivery of a new 100 per cent electric vehicle, the Renault Kangoo Z.E.
The embassy purchased a new Renault Kangoo Z.E. commercial vehicle from Renault Belgard and will use the vehicle on a daily basis for a range of activities including the transport of visiting guests from France. The Embassy chauffeurs and staff are already queuing up to test drive it!
Madame Emmanuelle d’Achon, French Ambassador to Ireland commented: “The Embassy of France in Ireland is proud to announce its investment in a new electric commercial vehicle, contributing significantly to the objective of the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs to become a model department in terms of energy efficiency and the fight against greenhouse gas emissions. We are also proud of the fact that this vehicle is made by Renault, a French company at the forefront of green technology innovation which has a strong presence in Ireland.”

Renault is the only manufacturer to introduce a range of 100% electric vehicles, from the Kangoo Z.E. mini-van to the Fluence Z.E. Saloon, the Twizy urban quadricycle and the stylish compact hatch the ZOE.
The new Renault Kangoo Z.E. and Fluence Z.E. are now available for extended test drives at Renault dealerships around the country.
