Flynt reveals first electric van for Europe
Flynt, a Chinese-backed, Dutch electric van start-up, has unveiled its first all-electric light commercial vehicle ahead of its European launch in 2026.
Flynt says its debut eLCV is purpose-built for Europe’s urban, regional, and last-mile operations. It has a claimed range of up to 500km, 220kW DC fast charging, V2G and V2L capabilities, and a payload of up to 1,630kg.
The cabin comprises a 12.8-inch main display and an 8.8-inch cluster supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as smart storage, ergonomic access and a mobile-office functionality. Standard also is ADAS with Level 2 autonomy.
In building its first electric van, Flynt has partnered with MiracoMotor – a dedicated electric light commercial vehicle spin-off backed by GAC Group, one of China’s leading EV manufacturers.
Flynt’s founder, Rogan Liu, said the decision to partner with China was both “strategic and essential”.
“By integrating this advanced EV technology into a vehicle specifically designed for European fleets, we’re able to achieve a level of efficiency, reliability, and performance that directly translates into lower total cost of ownership,” he said.
“It’s a product built not just for today’s expectations — but for tomorrow’s operations.”
A prototype version of Flynt’s first electric van will arrive in Europe this summer, where it will support ongoing pilot programs, customer showcases, and localised testing.
It is unclear whether Flynt will eventually launch in Ireland, but the company does say that from 2026 it plans to expand “across all 26 target markets” in Europe.
