Electro Maintenance adds SEG alternator to portfolio

Electro Maintenance, specialist in rotating electrics in Ireland for more than 60 years, has added a new alternator to its impressive portfolio.

The SEG EL1013, which fits many Volkswagen and Audi applications, is available without a core and is currently in stock.

Technicians are advised to check that the correct battery is fitted as alternator charge rates are very sensitive to battery state of charge, whether it is AGM or Calcium.

Technicians should also check that logged faults are refreshed out of the system. This unit comes complete with a six-ribbed clutch pulley.
