Commercial vehicle registrations across Europe increased by 4.2 per cent in the first half of the year, figures released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) confirm.
During the first half of 2017 the EU market expanded by 4.2 per cent, counting 1,221,811 new commercial vehicles registered.
Spain posted the strongest results over this period (+14.2 per cent ), followed by Italy
(+8.7 per cent ), France (+6.0 per cent ) and Germany (+2.1 per cent ).
The UK market, on the other hand, contracted (-2.7 per cent ) over the first half of the year.
