Core Diagnostics launches Core Remote Ultimate solution

Core Diagnostics has launched the Core Remote Ultimate solution – a hardware package comprising all the equipment necessary for technicians to access the full range of benefits its remote support service provides, whether in the workshop or in mobile use.

According to the company, the Core Remote interface provides a secure remote connection between a vehicle and the Core Diagnostics technical centre, which is staffed by a team of IMI-accredited technicians.

With direct access to the vehicle’s electronic systems, they are able to carry out a wide range of diagnostic procedures including complex coding and programming tasks, and fully supported and certified ADAS calibration.

Whilst now handling thousands of support tickets each month, Core Diagnostics says it has capacity in both systems and manpower to ensure its users continue to receive a highly responsive service, with no waiting times or frustrating support queues.

While the Core Remote continues to be available as a stand-alone interface, Core Remote Ultimate is described as a premium package for workshop professionals which provides everything technicians require to maximise the full range of benefits of Core Diagnostics’ remote service, all in one convenient and mobile solution.

In addition to a Core Remote, it includes an Android tablet with a rugged case, a Netgear high-speed mobile Wi-Fi router and a bespoke soft case to protect the Core Remote and router while in use. A pre-paid SIM is included, allowing users to get up and running immediately.

The Netgear high-speed router is a key element of the Core Remote Ultimate package. It ensures a fast and stable 4G/5G data connection and saves valuable time by overcoming the need for settings to be reconfigured each time the Core Remote is out of range of the workshop’s Wi-Fi router. This makes it ideal for dynamic ADAS calibrations which have to be carried out on the road, as well as for mobile technicians looking for an effective remote diagnostic solution.
