Commercial Components, based in Hampshire, was the lucky recipient of a pair of British F1 grand prix tickets, courtesy of Mahle Aftermarket’s turbo promotion.
Customers had to simply purchase any turbo during the qualifying period to be in a chance of winning the British grand prix tickets, which saw Lewis Hamilton win the race for a fifth time.
Simon Pitter, Commercial Components managing director, said: “The competition win was a very welcome surprise! We are a long term Mahle filter distributor and so look to embrace their other high quality ranges such as turbos whenever possible.”
Jonathan Walker, Mahle Aftermarket UK managing director, said: Mahle Aftermarket’s turbo’s range continues to improve for both car and commercial vehicle applications and we are introducing new references regularly that cover a wider vehicle parc.”
Mahle Aftermarket also ran a promotion earlier in the year giving away a free Formula 1 polo shirt with every Turbocharger purchased.
Mahle and Ferrari are long-term technical partners and supplies Ferrari with crucial engine components. Altogether, over 300 engineers and developers operate in the business segment of Mahle Engineering Services, Motorsports, and Special Applications and this expertise is translated into the independent automotive aftermarket.
The busy period continues for Mahle Aftermarket with a range of air-conditioning (A/C) compressors – covering all top applications in the UK aftermarket – set to be launched shortly.
