Colm Quinn will be bringing BMW back to Galway with a fully-fledged dealership in a prime location on the Tuam Road, at the Excelsior garage site.

Planning permission has been granted for the new dealership and building work is planned to start this month with completion scheduled for early 2014.

John Ives, managing director of BMW Ireland, says the new investment by Colm Quinn during a time of significant economic uncertainty is a vote of confidence in the BMW brand and builds on the success of his existing operation in Athlone.

Colm Quinn Galway will comprise an eight-car showroom, a 12-bay workshop, as well as more than 50 external used car display spaces. It will create a minimum of 25 new jobs in Galway when operational.
