Last Monday was coined “Blue Monday”, reportedly the most depressing day of the year. However, this year Citroen Ireland set about flipping the dullest day of the year to become “Feel Good Monday”, encouraging each one of us to carry out random acts of kindness and spread the love. In its quest to establish “Feel Good Monday” Citroen Ireland partnered with the Make-A-Wish Ireland charity.
Citroen Ireland and comedian Marcus O’Laoire called on people to nominate their friends, family or colleagues for a special surprise or gift on what they want to become known as “Feel Good Day”. The campaign to change blue vibes to feel good vibes was driven online.
For each time someone nominated a friend to receive a random act of kindness Citroen made a €2 donation to children’s charity Make-A-Wish Ireland on your behalf, with a target to reach a total donation of €3,000.
