Car fire on Dublin’s M50 in rush hour traffic


Dublin Fire Brigade have said that traffic restrictions have been lifted after a vehicle caught fire on the M50 this morning.

The car caught fire on the M50 Southbound, at Junction 12 – Firhouse, at circa 9am this morning (Tuesday). Dublin Fire Brigade shared a photo of the vehicle fire on Twitter/ X.

Traffic restrictions in the area were lifted before 10am.

Dublin Fire Brigade wrote on Twitter (X): “M50 J12 Firhouse Southbound. We’ve now finished on scene at the
vehicle fire and traffic restrictions have been lifted. Thanks for your patience.”
