Bosch extends workshop offering with essential components for A/C systems

New range contains A/C components for vehicles from most European manufacturers. For over 15 years, Bosch has been supporting workshops with fully automatic A/C service units and accessories for the maintenance of air conditioning systems in vehicles.

In order to also provide support in case of repairs, Bosch is now expanding its workshop offering across Europe with the essential components of air conditioning systems. From now on, in addition to A/C compressors and condensers, the range of replacement parts also includes dryers, expansion valves and evaporators. The program covers vehicles from different manufacturers and is continually being expanded.

High, market-specific quality standards
Before being selected for the program, the A/C components undergo extensive endurance and leak tests, to ensure reliable performance and a long service life.

In addition, corrosion tests ensure a high weather resistance. Thanks to precisely fitting connections and the compressors coming pre-filled with oil, mechanics can install the spare parts easily and quickly. Also comprehensive online installation instructions are available.

Parts, test equipment and services
In addition to the new A/C components, the Bosch range already includes products such as drive belts, cabin filters, cabin blowers and engine cooling fans for working around the A/C system. For maintenance work it is complemented by A/C units from the ACS series, accessories, and oils for the air conditioning circuit. The Bosch service training workshops also offer a certificate of competence for working on A/C systems.

Thermal management in electric cars
Air conditioning cycle is becoming increasingly important for electric cars. The entire air conditioning system will play an important role in the thermal management of electric cars in the future. Previously used only for interior cooling, the A/C circuit will also be used to cool the powertrain components of hybrid and electric vehicles. This keeps the battery, electric motor, and power electronics within the optimum temperature range to ensure reliable operation.
