The Bill Cullen Motor Group has lost the Renault franchise at its premises at Airside in Swords and Liffey Valley.
The news comes after the group was forced to close down its dealerships in Ennis and Galway earlier this summer, with the loss of 29 jobs.
Neither the Bill Cullen Motor Group or Renault Ireland were prepared to comment on the reasons behind the decision, aside from stating that both parties “have terminated the relationship by mutual agreement.”
Mr. Cullen says the loss of the Renault franchise does not spell the end of his career in the motor industry.
“I’m pleased to announce that my dealerships are still firmly in the motor business, in my 56th year of giving the Irish motorist the best sales and service experience in the industry,” he was quoted as saying.
