Autopromotec presents IAAM 2013

Autopromotec 2013, the specialised international automotive aftermarket event has announced details of this year’s International Automotive Aftermarket Meeting (IAAM13) on May, 23.

Autopromotec_IAAM_13_logo2Over 300 professionals from all over the world, including vehicle and component manufacturers, independent distributors and aftermarket networks, are expected to attend IAAM13, testament to the international appeal of this event. Previously known as the EAAS (European Automotive Aftermarket Symposium), the conference is a one of a kind in Europe and an integral part of Autopromotec’s programme this May.

The main focus of IAAM13 will be to provide companies and professionals involved in the after-sales sector with an insider’s perspective on the trends and developments within the aftermarket industry in Europe, as well as further afield. The conference will focus on new international channels for sales and marketing activities, both within Europe and selected strategic countries, such as those of the BRIC group (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

Emanuele Vicentini, Brand Manager at Autopromotec, confirms: “BRIC countries offer interesting opportunities for business development, at a time when growth in Europe is slowing. Companies have been forced to adapt their offering as a result of the financial crisis and the subsequent increase in demand for low-cost service and repair solutions. European garages now frequently offer budget solutions, more efficient services and use online selling and tools more than ever.

“Over the next decade European garages and distributors have an opportunity to focus on the growing needs of the aftermarket in BRIC countries, creating new distribution networks. There is no doubt that European expertise and advanced technology represent an opportunity to satisfy the growing needs of these countries. IAAM13 will address these themes, aiming to offer the market new opportunities and the tools for growth.”EAAS11-Autopromotec2

The full day dedicated to IAAM13 at Autopromotec 2013, will feature two distinct and complementary seminars. In the morning, a succession of speakers, experts in the aftermarket industry, will be presenting the future trends in the car service and repair market in Europe and in BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China). Later in the afternoon, a series of meetings are planned between experts and participants to examine in detail the opportunities offered by international markets on a more specific level.

The opportunity offered by this year’s IAAM13 conference ensures Autopromotec retains its unique position as a meeting venue for the international aftermarket that also helps contribute to the international development of its exhibitors and visitors. Not only does IAAM13 present the opportunity to exchange views with key market players, it also allows Autopromotec to achieve its aim of providing automotive professionals with a unique opportunity.

The agenda, as well as the IAAM13 program, will be available soon on the website, www.autopromotec.it.
