AAG appoints new director of European key accounts

Alliance Automotive Group has promoted Kris Halliwell to director of European key accounts, effective 1st January 2023.

Halliwell has been with AAG for nearly four years, during which time he has significantly developed the key accounts business in both the light vehicle and commercial vehicle segments.

He joined the AAG team as part of the Platinum International acquisition in 2018, where he had been an executive board director since 2007, undertaking leadership roles in logistics, supply chain and key account strategic development.

AAG last year acquired J&S Automotive Distributors, which trades from three distribution centres in Dublin, Cork and Omagh.

Earlier this year the group also acquired MacAutoparts Ltd. and Antrim Autoparts Ltd., two well-known motor factors in Northern Ireland, expanding its network across the island of Ireland.
