14.12.2010 New BMW X3 arrives with more for less  BMW has just launched its new X3 SUV. It is longer and wider than its predecessor. And it comes with a higher standard specification than the previous model. To top it off, BMW boasts that it also has a lower on-the-road price than the model it succeeds. The new X3 is offered in 2.0-litre diesel version from launch. The entry level xDrive 2.0d SE delivers 184 bhp with an impressive return of 50.4 mpg combined fuel consumption. The 149 g/km CO2 emissions places it in VRT Band C with road tax of €302 a year. BMW says that it has the lowest emissions for a four-wheel drive model in its segment The manual transmission version has a price tag of €45,810 ex-works and that rises to €48,056 ex-works for the automatic model.
