Mitsubishi L200 Dakar Edition For The Irish Market
Mitsubishi Motors Ireland has launched a limited edition of its L200 DoubleCab pick-up exclusively for the Irish market. Drawing on the strength of Mitsubishi Motors’ enduring record in the world’s toughest cross-country race - the DAKAR Rally - the new edition has been named the L200 DAKAR and is now available in dealer showrooms nationwide.

The Dakarr Edition is based on the top of the range DoubleCab Intense model and comes with the following standard additional equipment:

• 18” Alloy Wheels;

• Power Upgrade Pack that delivers 167Bhp and 402NM of torque;

• Front and read chrome headlamp surrounds

• Front chrome bumper protector;

• Rear chrome bumper.

The L200 Dakar retails at €37,495. With the DoubleCab Intense, the model on which the Dakar Edition is based, retailing at €33,730 and the value of the accessories coming to €6,500, it represents good value for money.

The L200 Dakar Edition DoubleCab also comes with air-conditioning, electric windows, 6-speaker CD system with MP3 connectivity, more than 1 tonne payload and 2.7 tonne towing capacity as standard. The performance and reliability of the L200 is backed by a 3-year/100,000km warranty and MAP (Mitsubishi Assistance Package), an unlimited 3-year European wide home or roadside assistance package.
